About Waste Technique
Since Waste Technique was founded in 2001, we have grown to offer a
comprehensive recycling service for Cathode
Ray Tubes and End of Life IT
Equipment in line with W.E.E.E regulations.
Significant capital investments have and continue to be made so that the best
practice methods are adopted in all facets of our operation.
Our main re-manufacturing is based in South Wales, in a state-of-the-art
facility which we encourage our customers to visit. Our main objective is to
provide a value for money service for all our customers so that they can meet
the new legislation with minimum fuss.
From July 1st 2007, EU legislation will require most types of
electrical waste to be separately collected at designated collection facilities
and recycled at Authorised Treatment Facilities using methods of best
practice.
It is estimated that there will be in the region
of 6,000,000 CRTs per annum requiring recycling and 350,000 tonnes of IT
Equipment.
The cost of delivering these solutions, will be meet by the electrical goods
manufactures and retailers. They, in turn, will audit recyclers to find value
for money recycling operations and employ companies who can also deliver a
comprehensive audit trail.
At Waste Technique we welcome any such audit so that our customers can see
first hand, the capital investment made to provide best practice processes for
CRT and IT Equipment Recycling.
